Wasatch Front, Utah

Asphalt paving across the Wasatch Front

Local crew, local knowledge. From Logan and Cache Valley down through Brigham City — 3H Paving has the Wasatch Front covered.

Wasatch Front coverage

Logan, Cache Valley, and northern Utah

3H Paving's Wasatch Front crew is based out of Logan and runs jobs from Smithfield down through Brigham City and Tremonton. We're a true local company — the Huefner family lives here, our trucks are here, and you'll work with the same people from estimate through walkthrough.

Most of our Wasatch Front work is residential driveways and small commercial lots. We also handle private roads, HOA shared drives, and church / school parking. Whatever the surface, we spec it for what Utah weather actually throws at it: freeze-thaw cycles, alpine UV, and the late spring snow that catches a lot of out-of-state contractors off guard.

If you're in Logan, Cache Valley, or the surrounding area and you need asphalt work done right — call us. We'll come out, measure, talk through options, and send a written quote.

FAQ

Wasatch Front asphalt FAQs

How quickly can you get to a Wasatch Front job?

Most Wasatch Front estimates are scheduled within 48 hours of your call. Project start dates depend on weather and the size of the job, but residential driveways usually start within 1–2 weeks of estimate approval.

Do you pull permits in Logan and Cache Valley?

When a permit is required — typically for work that affects public right-of-way or stormwater drainage — yes, we handle the permitting. Most residential driveway and lot work inside private property does not require a permit.

What asphalt mix do you use up here?

We use Utah DOT–approved hot mix asphalt from local suppliers, spec'd for our freeze-thaw climate. Mix and thickness are chosen per job — residential driveways are usually 2–3 inches, commercial lots 3–4 inches over a properly compacted base.
